Valkyrie Update:
Work on the construction of the Valkyrie project is complete - barring a few filling and sanding jobs that inevitably make themselves obvious once I add a coat of primer. The model has been put together from the hull of a Cyber-Hobby Flakpanzer IV, a couple of 3D prints (including the Wasserfall missile) from cults3d.com, some components from a Dragon Scud B, K&S aluminium tubing, some homegrown 3d printing, the inevitable plastic card and a few bits and pieces from the spares boxes. The next job will be the primer which should help bring everything together.
Hopefully, the following WIP pics (with some explanations) will give you a better understanding of the construction of the model itself and how it represents the mechanical operation of the Valkyrie Transporter Erector Launcher (TEL) vehicle. The Valkyrie's full backstory including technical data, operational functionality and tactical usage will follow in due course once the model (fully painted) is complete.
(Apologies for some parallax issues with my camera that make the missile look like it is off vertical - it isn't)
