Nice find! If they used the rockets fitted with smoke instead of HE it might have been more effective.
Wondering now if you could mount three or four of those on each side at a shallow angle for such a purpose?

I wonder ... could a simple mechanism be concocted to unfurl a compact bundle of 4 x tubes into a 'finger-four' spread for launch?
