Forgot to post these images a few days ago;

















I've hit the point of diminishing returns with the PSR, so it stops here.

Next I'll move on to the weapons, pylons, fuel tank & landing gear, while I sort out the paint into its final colours.

wOW! Talk about near=perfect fusions...

I was a little surprised at the wing choice-the planform is excellent, but I could have sworn the Arado wing was a lot thicker. Really like keeping the fuselage spine largely intact, too. Looking forward to the seeing it in paint.

I was saddened to learn of Rickshaw's passing. I haven't kept up with Whatif in ages.

Looks great, Guy! keeping the intake for the generator/cooling on the spine was a great choice.

I am still amazed at how easy the wing swap went and it really looks convincing. 

Will you be adding wing stores pylons to the Ar(E)555 wings?

Agreed. It should look very odd without the vertical tailplane being there ... but it doesn't  :D

The wing was much thicker, I cut out a wedge from the front of each wing, starting at about 7.5mm (1/4") & ending at the wing bend. This narrowed the depth of the wing considerably &, along with a bit of judicious filing & sanding, gave a sharper leading edge.

It was easier to leave than remove but I figured it could be for an APU &/or cooling for an onboard ECM system.

Currently 2 x fuel tanks, 2 x AIM-9L/Ms (for self-defence), 2 x ASM-3As & modifying 2 x Sea Eagles (to a "locally produced variant"). So, she'll be loaded for a maritime strike role (in case that wasn't obvious).

Oh, & she'll be retaining the guns - but their barrel ends/muzzles will go on after the detail painting.
