Inspiration for the Canadian Group Build

Plonk yer Canuck-inspired tidbits here! Older builds, other folks' builds, hopeful manufacturer-applied Maple Leaves, concept art, flights of fancy, etc., all welcome

Now, a bit of potential diorama fodder to kick us off ...

I look at the photo you included in the first post and think RCAF ZELL...

Check out Gingie's Skynet Enabled Images, all with Canadian-themed AI artwork.

So far: B-52s, Harriers, CF-105s, Broncos, Cobras, Neptunes, Canberras, and CL 515s ...

Regarding that ZEL CF-105.  There was also a smaller single engine design, tentatively called CF-104.  Since it was a paper project it's an easy enough conversion from an F-106.  I have some booster rockets from a TSR-2 kit and a ground transporter for Gundam transformers.  This could be intriguing.

Looks like a Model T (or similar) on rails. Cute! Maybe the express version has JATO rockets.

Around these parts, we'd call that a 'Crummy'  :D

Personal anecdotage ... in 1943, Grandad was transferred from RCAF Ucluelet on Vancouver Island to Gander (on Stranraers) and then on Goose Bay, Labrador. And that's how he gained 'Overseas' stripes - 'The Rock' and Labrador still being 'foreign lands' at the time  ;D

WOW!!  Thanks GTX.  I forgot how much it looked like an F-106.  I saw the conversion link and bookmarked it.  Again, thanks.  It is a bit of work and my time is short, so I may use a resin kit I have of a Canadian VTOL "radial thrust engine" project.

Cool! Are you talking about the Project Y Ace, Y2 Silver Bug, or Avro Canada's later MX 1794 for the USAF?
