What about a different Air Defence variant using the FIM-92 Stingers from the Wiesel 2 Air Defence Weapon Carrier (Ozelot)- see below:

Another "option" to consider is the turret from the LAV-AD variant of the LAV-25/MOWAG Piranha FOV with the 25mm GAU-12 or GAU-22 Gatling gun and Stinger missile pod arrangement.

Puma with Leo1 A5 turret:

Apparently, this Leopard 1A5-turreted ACV Puma was a movie prop created by a company that rents out vehicles to film-makers. It is one of the three prototype hulls (I suspect PT1) built for Krauss Maffei's experimental use. The complete Leo turret was far too heavy for the lightweight, 4 x roadwheeled hull so the turret interior has been largely stripped ... and attempts at weight-saving probably also explain the bobbed main gun.

Of course, the idea wasn't completely original. The ACV Puma 'family' diagram in Greg's Reply #179 shows a Puma-Panzerjäger 105 variant - ie: one fitted with a GIAT TK 105 turret on a medium weight, 5 x roadwheeled hull. But a later point, Krauss Maffei would also offer a Leopard 1A5-turreted ACV Puma variant. This concept being proved on a Bundeswehr prototype (PM2).

Anyway, the ACV Puma was a fascinating mash-up of Leopard 1 suspension with a few Leopard 2 parts ... making me wonder if Marderman ever modeled it  :D

Absolutely! If the 6-roadwheeled ACV Puma could handle the TH 105 turret, then a Leopard 1A5 turret should also work on that hull. Perhaps a TH 105 on offer for export with the Leo-turreted ACV Puma as a panzerjäger for the Bundeswehr?

If the Leopard 1A5 turret and gun were too heavy for the lightweight ACV Puma, I guess the next question is what would work better on the 4-roadwheeled hull? My vote would be for the IFV CB25 (for export) or (pure whif) TPz 20mm Geschützturm from the TPz Fuchs (for the domestic use).

OT from the movie prop (and going back to the 6-roadwheeled hull) is the intriguing IFV with 40mm L/70 Bofors. I wonder who that variant was aimed at? Might it have been a proposed alternative to Sweden's strf 9040? Some intriguing possibilities there as well ...

Perhaps a Marder and/or Puma with the rear troop compartment replaced by a VLS anti aircraft or anti tank missile pack?
