I'm guessing that your 'VC.9' (rather than being a RW Vanguard) is a follow-on designation from the civilian VC.7? AFAIK, the V-1000 and VC.7 airframes were to be virtually identical (the former simply having more RAF-y kit installed).

I'm also curious, is your Trident-tailled VC.9B a 5-engined aircraft?
