DH121 with tail plane below center engine

What title says is what mentions Derek Wood in his book Projects cancelled (page 102)



A very long time ago I got a bag of DDR plastic junk with pieces from HS Trident and Boeing 727 both 1/100. No brand mentioned but I think many of you know this models.

None of aircraft was complete, but for me a good starting point for nice projects.

I recently found above image while googling and decided to begin this project.

Feel free to comment details of this design based in a very controversial aircraft. :thumbsup:

Tail fin already deleted and nose balanced with ballast. Vertical panels are intended to avoid void effect when you look through the windows.



Central engine is done with fuselage of a MiG-21 1/100 from the same DDR manufacturer.



Horizontal plane from 727 (in the left in pic) will serve to build tail fin.
