Unless of course they mean only 500 kits produced.

One would hope so.  It looks like, not counting fasteners, that there were not that many pieces in the full scale original.

Yes, but when flown the engine delivered insufficient power to fly with a passenger...oopppsss. ;D

Definitely an oopsie!!  At least they covered it over to reduce drag.

Funny, I've got some D-ANAL registrations from a Ju-52 Lufthansa livery supposedly.

Although I suspect Roden is just messing with us.
