Lord, you are saving the planet! (I thought these bright shells with aerial propellers had disappeared from Earth, due to voracity of human beings and other monsters, but you found three remaining ones, thanks!). Now we must create a special aquatic zoo for them, preserved forever... And for yourself, a gold medal!

Hey ericr, really still loving your work. I was looking around the net and found that someone has been inspired by you to so this sort of modelling in the real life living animal world:

It has even confounded our mighty treasurer, Joe "Dont Call Me A Girlie Man Matthias" Hockey

Were going to be finished in 2018 BEFORE I start any da*!#d new ones - Maybe by 2022? - CF-IDS Wolverine; Douglas Mawson; Bubba Wants a Fishin' Rig; HP Hartlepool; NA F-100

Those snail planes are an excellent metaphor for my modelling production. I appreciate the nudge...
 ;)
Yet more whimsical and delightful creations! I love the primary colors and how you've gone "Two-Color" on these beauties.

Well done, ericr!

amazing !

I am not using live animals though (yet)  ;D
but as long as they don't get hurt (no kit bashing  ;)) it might make sense, like having snail races where they carry bits of models?

there was a suggestion :

You should do a polar bear version next. Perfect for the Noreseman.

which I was happy to follow and adopt !

Nice animals, I am glad to know them.
I know they drink mainly gasoline, but what are they eating? human flesh or vegetables?

the might carry humans, but not quite eat them : they can climb out upon arrival  ;)

inspired by Kuczynski :

this donkey powered airplane : I had to find a civil twin-engine, and the Rochelle 1/100 kit by Zvevda had the right size for the donkeys :

okay, I didn't do the carrots, which are the real source of power, but the idea is there I guess

I enjoy looking at these.  You have quite the eye for combining animals and machines that seems so natural.

Good! Have you got rest enough? But maybe creative-modelling is a matter of joy and mind-rest, this is not work (even if hands are busy)... ;)
