Ahh yes.  Another fine enlightening combo  :smiley:
Foresee 1/72 bomber:  1/48 or 1/32 He-111 with 1/72 interior and 1/72 Constellation wings.

Just replace the tip-pods with Me-109 parasite fighters & one of their towed fuel tanks behind :D

Yep, that combo works really well  :smiley:

The earlier, 4-engined Heinkel/Constellation made me think of a Big Brother for the He 116 mailplane.

Those aren't Beaufighter Hercules engines under those cowlings, but rather two of the special, two stage supercharged Pegasus engines used by the original Bristol 138A. Armament would be four rifle-calibre Brownings.
My scenario is 1939-40, with the Ju86s flying photo recce missions over England prior to Operation Sealion . . .
