Retired from naval serice, used as a land based high capability attack plane.
Now only basic scheme, without unit marking ....

Can A-6's be adapted to the anti-shipping role? ???

What would the RAMarines Air Arm do to them? ???

Not really but probably a grey, a blue/grey-blue & a green/olive/khaki, maybe with the grey wrapping around from the underside? ???

My thinking was A-6s used by the RAAF as interim platforms instead of the F-4Es pending arrival of F-111Cs.

So.... first proposals for "Royal Australian Marines Air Arm"  (did I understand that correctly?) are here.
Help me please: No.1 is first choice. Undersides are in lightest grey shade. Others are variations of first.
What will be better? Lighter shades or darker? More or less contrast between colours?



Or Buccs will be better choice?   :icon_crap:

Love all 4 of those schemes, the deciding factor would be what paint colours I have available! 8) 8) :smiley:

Well, I do have a 1/48 Bucc but no A-6's in the stash, so that may be a better choice ... financially. ;)

First come Oz-Intruder , later Oz-Bucc ... and sometime between both  or after come Oz-Strike Eagle. For Eagle I choose scheme simillar to "K-1" from F-111.

So Přerov is about ten miles from me. But my birthplace is Velehrad..

When you get the chance, could we see this one fully developed?  I have several 1/72 and 1/48 Buccaneer kits and could set aside a couple for Australian usage, much as I have one in each scale set aside for building as Buccaneer S.52's in Marinefleiger markings.

For elmayerl: Complete draw of RAMAA Bucc is planed, Marineflieger Bucc  i draw 5 year back. So and RAN and RAAF Buccs i have "in head" too.... wait please only for a couple of days  ;)
