Last summer, my American brother in law offered me a Boeing 777 model (10 parts 'kit' to build without glue). Alas, after coming back to France, all was broken, and mainly the engines were not solid enough, I needed to glue them back on.
Now this is the B777-2000 with tail turbofans above low tailplanes, something never seen anywhere else (I think)...

I really like this one, Tophe! The engines really look good on the tail and give your airliner a much more powerful look than the standard 777.

Well, as all was already painted, ready to build, this had been a 10-second building, and the 'repair' took also 2 seconds. Compared to year of work on many great models, I understand I belong to the childish sub-category...

I don't think so Tophe,

But as you say some take a year or so, and others are so simple it's amazing no one else thinks of it. Doesn't make it any less of a neat build.

lol I'm not sure I'd have the guts to step into what quite clearly is a jettisonable container

I remember Pitch Black, when the ship got into a spot of bother the first thing to go were the cargo/people pods ...........
