My first whiff-in-plastic build was a RCN CF-110N Spectre that crashed before I finished it. I still have the model, but some parts are missing, some destroyed, so there's only a small chance I'll actually get around to finishing it.
But, I've since started my second whiff-in-plastic: a
Sukhoi CA-234 Rattler of the RCAF. It's done up in RW-ish markings as I don't have the means for the moment to get AltCan decals made.
It's still very much in progress, but I thought I'd share a few pictures...
This is my first-ever attempt at camouflage - and I'm using spraybombs as I don't have an airbrush. I'm satisfied enough with the lines, but too late - after I started decalling - I realised I should've tried to polish the lines down a bit, as the borders between the colours are rather noticeable... ah, well, lessons learnt, right? :)
It's progressing, but slowly. I don't build everyday, and I've got other plastic projects on the go, too, not to mention profiles, althists, Elder Scrolls, writing a conference paper... well, you all know how this goes!
