Thanks guys, I appreciate  :D

I made some more paint today:
- working the grey with various shade (A/C, pylon & drop tanks)
- GBU-12 and MICA done
- painting of the APU exhaust

Tomorrow, I'll start the washing and decal if I can. Hope to finish it for next week end for my next exhibition  :-*

Hi guys,

Update of the day:
- Washing done
- decals done

Starting from tomorrow, I will apply a satin varnish on the A/C and start to finish the paint on small part (seat, wheels, afterburner tunnel, etc...) before the final assembly.
I don't know if I will have time to update during the week, so my next post will probably be the finished model

Hi guys,

The TA-50F is done.

Thanks Greg to make me switch from my original idea to this new one

Some photos are a bit dark, I will make new one once I will be back  ;)

Hope you like it.

About the only thing I would have done differently would be the placement of the fuselage roundel.  I note that you have gone for a similar placement to that on their Rafales:

wheels I might have gone something similar (i.e. more rearward) like that done for the Mirage 2000s and Mirage F-1s:

Personal preference though and not a criticism against your wonderful build.

Thanks for yor feedback, I appreciate  :D

Greg, in fact, it was my first idea too. In LH side, it will have been OK but on the RH side, the APU exhaust will have been right under and I didn't found this good on my point of view. But after your intervention, I notice that I was too focused on the ROKAF roundel position and maybe if I had opted for a little bit more forward position (just in front of the APU inlet), it will have been good at the rear :-[
I still have a project for a french AF Alphajet replacement aircraft (so a strict trainer as the T-50 and not TA-50), so I keep your idea in mind for it

Everything is packed for this WE exhibition and I also take the box of what will be probably the next project: a ROCAF F-16B to go with my ROCAF F-5E done last year and one of the F-CK-1 I have in stash (the other one will be a what-if  :P)

Your friend takes good photo's!

Of course, it helps that the subject is so spectacular, too. ;)
