From the same designer in 1/35th, $23.71 for the set of four:

Personally speaking I think the 1/24th scale track assemblies would look better on a 1/35th vehicle,
especially if doing a halftrack.

Ah, its for 4 - OK! Yes, plan would be to install the 24th scale on a 35th Lav-II 4x4

If they all look the same just count the number & shape of the wheel holes - that will tell you what size / model halftrack it is.

An Arii 1/32 Honda T360 would do for the vehicle - the hardest part would be the tracks.

I recall seeing a resin half-track conversion for the Kubelwagon a few years back.  That might be a good source for the tracks.  Or perhaps one of the rather dated 1/48th scale Bandai half-track?

There's also this

But I'm not sure I want to borrow that setup; it's too big.

Yep, that was the one I was describing.

Now as for the size, maybe a smaller scale half-track kit in 1/72nd, 1/56, or 1/48 might be the better source for the parts needed.

This needs to be built!
Why I first thought it was Star wars I don’t know. Maybe better in an episode of Firefly. That was a space western!

The 1/25 Paul Revere and the Raiders coach would get you most of the way there:
https://www.scalemates.com/kits/mpc-977-raiders-coach--1117152
and it has a lot of other nifty parts that don't look like they came from a car kit.

There's also a 1/35 paper model of a Wells Fargo stage coach which could be used as a base for cutting the parts out of styrene. There are a ton of printable stagecoaches and covered wagons online. I think the hardest part would be the running gear.
