25 Pounder Portee 1/35

Sounds like a perfect Whiffer... well in this case it is not. Well, sort of is.
As the 2 Pounder and 6 Pounder had all been successfully portee mounted, clearly somebody thought why not the 25 pounder.
Project started in 1942 and was abandoned (wisely I would say) in 1943. There are other trials using more suitable trucks like Mack, but none saw service. Again probably wisely.

So not really a what if, but nonetheless, weird enough to warrant a build

Now, I am one of those see a neat picture you have to build it type of guys
I think I posted a picture of the beginnings of this at some stage in the past. Now it is back on the bench.
using the ICM Fordson WOT6 and the Bronco 25 Pounder kits. I designed up the ramps in 3D and had them printed by a buddy with a Resin printer.

The gun shield fold down is in the Direct Fire mode on reference photo and it has been nagging me the entire time. I think it will need to be altered on my 25 Pounder so my head does not explode.  ;)
