Did the Canadian Army in WW2 use the American made Jeep or the British Bantam? I have one of each.

https://captainstevens.com/military/mv/jeeps/The Canadian Army used a range of jeep types - first testing the US-made Bantam Car 5 Cwt and Willys-Overland MA types. (A number of sources claim that Bantams were used operationally - if true, those would have been ex-British BRC-40 models.)
As with the US Army, the Willys was favoured by Canada and orders were placed for 5,000 Willys MBs (for some reason, nobody ever used the MBs' official Canadian Army nomenclature of W-LU 440-M-PERS-1 ... go figure!). Prior to receiving their MBs, the Army also ordered standard Ford GPs in a range of sub-types - including GPW ambulances and amphibious GPAs (although I suspect that the latter may have come from British Army stocks).
Quite late in the war, the Canadian Army also ordered 'Tracked Jeeps' ... but they arrived too late for wartime service and, beside, the tracked beasties looked nothing like their wheeled counterparts.
