Decals and some weathering are on. Just a bit more work:

Cargo hold and exploration vehicle. I redid the crane. The impulse engine area has some Gundam detailing bits and some styrene fins:

I should be done with this tomorrow or this weekend.

Another stellar build!  ;) I really like the red bands on the engines, and the vehicle really sells the scale.

Thanks Craig! Your build inspired these two!

I'm calling this one done.

There's a hatch at the back of the cargo bay and the exploration vehicle fits nicely, with room to spare:

The 2607 decal looks silvered, but it's wet and I applied decal setting solution after I took the pictures and it settled down. The blue-gray, beat up scout ship is all that's left of my original SSC Leif Ericson kit, from 1968. It illustrates how small this recon ship is. The scout fits comfortably in the Leif Ericson's bay:

The black (or dark metal) upper fins are supposed to work as radiators. I forgot to nip off the attachment pin for the small turret that was supposed to go behind the cockpit area, so I painted it light blue. Maybe it's a light, sensor or something else:
