Advent/Revell Boeing P26
« on: April 18, 2025, 05:03:55 AM »
Decals arrived today, so building and priming has started. Interior is charitably described as 'sparse,' but in this size the idea of scratchbuilding a better one is daunting. Nope, ain't gonna happen. Goes together fairly well so far.

Sounds like you have the perfect opportunity to add an a canopy over the open cockpit and ignore the inside details.

I love the 'yellow wings' look, but this one will be a two-tone (at least) green camouflage, which would serve better over the jungle vegetation of southern Mexico.

It's a Granny Smith peashooter! Still looks like a good kit despite it's age. I'm sure BdB would approve of your build.

Yes that scheme is a nice base, I would suspect that the decals will make it pop being that bit different
