And we are back. Lots of procrastination on the Ice Rigger, so need to clear away another zombie project.

Back on the M20 Greyhound. Decided against the 20mm, too squeezy and the mortar and thought just add more machine guns and keep the recce role.
So how about twin .50, went with the Aircraft type, as if recovered off a downed aircraft. Also added some more armour plate to the fighting compartment
Gun mount layout still work in progress, they need to be a bit further forward to make operating more practical.

Perhaps a bit more local workshops type modifications.

Sez "Thump and Run" to me. I like the original look of the Quad, but this one looks properly purposeful. And lead me to think about an 180-wheeler with a flatbed trailer and three or four mortars in a mobile battery. Could something like that work?

Sometimes just finishing something is invigorating.

First up, this is a really neat kit, typical Tamiya, where everything works.
Simple mods, to lower the complexity and get something done for this whiffer.

Calling this done. Might get the third crewman though.

It came out great! The armored plates look perfect. I'm sure you could fool people if you told them it was a late war field modification.
