So far, it actually looks better than a Vixen &, almost, as ruggedly handsome as the Phantom. ;) :smiley:

Love this! Another classic case of "Why didn't I think of this"!
I had no idea the Vixen was as big as a Phantom. I just assumed it was smaller for carrier ops. Will the Phantom tail have a rear facing radar?

 The whole flows together very nicely. Given the size of the tail cone relative to the original, I think you'd have room for braking chutes and a radar fit. (I'd probably do something like a manned tail gun, but I am a little eccentric...)
