The antenna is 30 AWG solid wire-wrap wire. It's all I had handy at the time.

You need to get a cat, whiskers make great antennae.

I have three and a nice collection of whiskers that they've dropped over the years.

You also have some flexible plastic fibre that I sent you a long time ago.  Only slightly thicker than the whiskers and in black and a pale yellow/straw color.  It was all coiled up in a zip-lock bag.

It really makes you wonder why there wasn't a standardisation on 'light track/medium track/heavy track suspension' in the USA. They ended up with a huge array like the soviets did with their bickering design bureaus.

I looked for it and couldn't find it, until I found that bag while looking for another part. Moved it to a more obvious location.  The 30 AWG WW wire and tool were on my work bench and in sight at the time.

I bought some spring wire recently. I’m going to try it on my MRC-108 conversion soon. The antenna is 32 scale feet long. I’ll been it over and tie it down so it will fit on the shelf.
