I wonder how many lifeboats they cold stow inside & carry externally on a B-36 
A regular wooden or steel hulled boat, I would guess between four and six-it would likely be a custom design. Dropping something as ungainly as a lifeboat from the bomb bay might have been a little tricky, but I'm just spitballing here.
On a wholly unrelated tangent, had the YB-40 and 41 projects been a field success, I wonder what a dedicated escort version of the B-36 would have looked like?
