NASA selected a team led by Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company of Palmdale, California, to complete a preliminary design for Quiet Supersonic Technology (QueSST).

Not an issue if one has cameras.  In fact technology today would easily allow for the doing away of windows altogether.

are cameras reliable enough yet?

I'm not a camera expert  by any means but given the footage we are getting from SpaceX and other Gov't and space operators I would say we very close if not there already.
