Must have been subcontracted to Marcos!

It's going to be an update on an older story, should have done this to my DB5 that would have been more fitting ( hint ).

Ok made mk1 version of wings not sure now weather i should go for jet engines instead of props, but not sure if that would be going to far, if not how far is to far should i give it solid wings that fold back, you know like that jet which does that, i could still paint them yellow and red stripped like Chitty.

So is this a close relative to "
Chitty Chitty Bang Bang
" that we all remember from ages ago with Benny Hill as the toymaker? :)

Great stuff!
Wow it's been at least 20 years since I last thought of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
Thank you for bringing back memories and a great upgrade of a classic!

With all that wood, it would be great if you could start with a Morgan, but I don't believe there's a kit available of one of those; pity. This does look like it's going to be a fun build and I love the concept.

Hilarious.
Evan, there is the Tamiya Morgan 4/4 in 1/24th and the old variously reboxed (Entex, Minicraft etc.) 1/16th Morgan 3-wheeler. Note that while the traditional Morgan
bodies
have ash
frames
the body
panels and the chassis members are not wood.
Nice build of the Tamiya kit:

a single prop out the back seems the accepted thing for these vehicles
I have seen early Morgan 3-wheelers with molded plywood bodies so a polished wood one on the 1/16th Entex/Academy kit could be done but I think BRG is THE colour for these cars :)
I have the Academy kit & it's pretty good apart from a few sink marks & the attachment of the chrome grill-shell to the sprue - have to clean it up & re-chrome it
