That is hilarious!  ;D
Does it work? I suppose you could hook it up to an air source and operate it with a remote switch. Would be a funny thing to do at a model show.  ;D
Cheers,

I am not sure: this is so much heretical that it could generate violence from other modellers feeling like insulted... ;)

The tank is great! You could add an "unused" party favor in the rear, where the external fuel tanks would go.

thanks all !

there is a slight trick actually : the rolled and the extended ones are two different ones I can fit on the tank : there is no air supply  ;)

Hilarious  ;D  And what victory parade would be complete without hybrid heavy armour brandishing party blowers?

I could really see that being set up on the edge of the Korean demilitarised zone and blowing every hour on the hour.

it was just too tempting for me, so I bought a teapot, and a fitting AS350 Écureuil from Heller, 1/48

You could see them all parading past Kim Jong-Un with their commanders stood stright up in the hatches saluting while the tanks blow their blowers at the same time. The Supreme Leader would wait a moment, and then take the salute by quietly raising a hand-made gold and silk blower of his own and blowing it in a dignified and restrained way. The scheduled spontaneous applause would then commence....

That made me laugh so hard while wishing I could show it to my late uncle Doug. He was notorious in the family for drinking gallons of tea: you could imagine this thing hovering around after him with emergency tea for any occasion.

When Doug used to come to our house, mum would have a cup of tea ready for him. He'd drain it in one swig every time and say 'fill up Middy" to get a refill. One time, Mum managed to get a novelty huge teacup that held a whole pint of tea, so for a laugh, she waiting until he arrived, then put it on the doorstep for him. he drained it in one swig and said 'fill up Middy...."  ;D

Dear ericr, you should win a contract of € billion (from Aerospatiale, now EADS?) for having invented the best marketing toy/gift EVER! :-*
(if I were the top-manager of EADS, I would sign the bank-order immediately, and with much joy)

Wonderful new machine! :-*
But I did not know the word aerosled, and Google Translate failed to translate it in our French. Fortunately Google Search with Wikipedia explained me this is a snowmobile (no need of wheels nor wings all right!), and the French Wikipedia said this is aerosan in French (a word I had never heard). This is a double miracle, as so pleasant a silhouette and enriching my vocabulary. ;)

another helicopter submitted to this transformation
(my stash is getting smaller and smaller !  ;D )
is a bit more sturdy-looking, and of russian origin :
the Mi-2

as a flying teapot (with an Aladdin-like style)

and as an aerosled (with skis from a Twin Otter : my spares box is also getting smaller) :

Have the jet pipes been drilled out so the blowers are still operable?
