To pick favorite paint scheme here is like a photo finish of most all horses at once at the track.
Do like squiggly B-25 cuz it messes with observer's eyes.
Javelin looks like flying to Las Vegas for cocktails-gambling-and well it is called sin city.

Georgeous-ness!!!  The CHP A-10 would certainly give a new meaning to "Road Patrolled by Aircraft: signs.  Regarding that P-38, there was one captured P-38F, IIRC, flown in Regia Aeronautica markings.

I used to visit the old WHIFmodelers pages and am new to visiting this site. Your ideas and drawings are fantastic (in both senses of the word).

Taking up some of the ideas that you have developed here are some more ideas in the same vein.

Swapping the orders of battle for the major powers in 1938 or so with the orbat for 1968 and vice versa.  So for example RAF Bomber Command in the late 30s has Vulcans and Victors in all over green or early camo (that would have made the Munich crisis interesting) while RAF Strike Command is fronting up Whitleys, Hampdens etc in green-grey NATO. Same for everyone else.

I like your combat airlines theme.  BOAC could operate Vulcans etc, Pan Am B52s and B58s, Lufthansa F104s...

Your Gerry Anderson machines look the business.  Maverick did some World Air Force machines using the Joe 90 markings.  A World Air Force in 2050 could operate anything you want. Equally Thunderbird 2 in Seaboard World or Flying Tigers!

Hope the ideas are fun, but enjoying your stuff.

Hi Clave,

Excellent work as usual.  :))  I was waiting for the Vatican B-17 on that other website where I had requested it.  Good thing I checked here today! 

I was wondering, how would this profile look if the Vatican used this aircraft for humanitarian purposes such as relief work or flying medical center.  Obviously, the guns would be gone, but what would be the color scheme be?  Along with the Vatican roundel, would red crosses also be used to evidence it's purpose?

If you have the time, could we see your take on this idea?

Looking forward to the release of your next batch of excellent profiles.  :D

I really like what you are doing. Very impressive !!!  I'm thinking that an Me 262 done in Argentine markings from 1945-6 would be very very inspiring !!!   I might just have to dig out that original Linberg one I have in my stash !!!  Besides,I have those decals and the ones from the kit were totally bogus,anyways.  You might inspire me to build an airplane again ???   LMAO !!!

Not that favorites are easy to pick, but I'm going with:
Wyvern in three colors + prop hub as US Navy really works.
Spitfire F22 and Me-262 also are tops  :)
