The catch of the day! - Update!!!
« on: April 24, 2025, 04:33:05 PM »
In a slum district, one of the fishermen just made a big catch of the day. Something that the inhabitants are shocked to see. If you all notice, its re-do of the slum diorama. For some reason I just had to downside...a bit. ;)

Good job.

Okay. What does this mean?

It's a fillet of shark meat (Mako shark in this instance), a nod to what the catch is shortly to become.

Fantastic! The look of determination on the fisherman is great!

Where did you get the figures?

Where did you get the figures?

Most of the figures were here at this link: https://www.super-hobby.se/manufacturers/Mantis-Miniatures.html . The others were bought from a French company that has since closed shop.

Stunning, the rusty tin sheets are very convincing, the figure work is excellent and the half bike is the cherry on the cake.

Agreed. The expression of everyone else (save laid-back radio guy) is appropriately gob-smacked. The expression of the shark, on the other hand, is: "Okay, how did it come this?"
"Rumble thee forth to the land of the unbelieving scum on the other side
'cuz they don't go for what's in the Book and that makes 'em BAD!"
