Well, decals done!

Just need to get a coat of gloss over them before I move on to panel lines & weathering.

A quick coat of 2:1 (Super_Clear : thinners) tonight.

I'm sticking with the red 'roos* for these builds because I couldn't get the d@mned things off & I have a lot of them.

Kit's 2nd Law** applies: Operating as part of the multi-national force sent in to stabilise (Somewhere ... Elbonia?) the Australian forces' (RAMs, Army & RAAF) units decided to use the slightly more visible red RAAF kangaroo on all vehicles deployed to minimise confusion for their allies, having to cope with blue, black & red 'roos of varying sizes.

When I get the printing bench going (feels like a pipedream at the moment) I'm going to print a turret logo of some of these on an Australian build.

This scheme really works for me.

Nice work. I get what you mean about the Roos. More subdued would have been more in keeping with the overall look.

Brian, I think of the scheme as "Australian Coastal" but the British Silver Grey would still work in broader areas of saltbush terrain.

Once I figure out how I want to do it (probably home-made decals), I'll be doing all my post-1970's RAM vehicles wearing blue 'roos (colour approximating Tamiya XF-18 Medium Blue).

For some reason, the side view got me wondering: the original ASLAVs had props, is there any way that the Stryker base could be made amphibious again? (You know, Marines ...)

Almost there.

A bit more dirtying (but not much), a few more touch-ups, & fiddly bits to go, then she'll be "done for now".

Commander & stowage will be fitted as & when, later.

I don't think so.

Although the Strykers are as light as possible (to make them C-130 transportable), I think they're too "dense" to be sufficiently adaptable for amphibious operations, especially the specialist versions like the MGS, Dragoon & Engineer Support Vehicle (ESV).
