Ferranti Airpass shouldn't have been too hard to fit and was proposed for the RAAF Mirage (Avon version).

What if the Scimitar was fitted with an actual all-weather radar and developed into an all-weather attack aircraft?  I like to imagine the Scimitar fitted with fuselage stores pylons to carry more weapons.  The wing stores pylons, especially the outboard stations would certainly benefit from having twin AAM launchers (as seen on the F-105, A-4, A-10, etc).
