Hi all
Just finished one of my side projects. This is based on the Revell Hurricane IIc combined with the 3D-Kits Vickers 'S' gun add on and a Quickboost resin propellor.
The fit of the kit is not bad except the canopy. But this was one of these builds that fought me all the way. Partly my own fault and partly due to a set of camoflage masks that were both not very sticky and appeared to be inaccurate against other sources.
However I persevered and here's the finished aircraft, warts and all.
And a couple of scale shots........
As always, all comments and criticisms gratefully accepted

That looks like 1:72nd scale. Nice job.
The Hurricane is kind of like the Hellcat in that it tends to get overlooked compared to the Spitfire. It was quite the workhorse, especially in the early years of the war.

Thanks guys
Sorry, forgot to mention scale, it is gentleman's 1/72 scale, it is my base scale but I'm not adverse to work in other scales
I find it's a nice balance between detail and available space

Looks good, 'Mog!
Pic's make it look a bit too yellow-bright on my screen but other than that, fine!
Camo is very similar to that used on the P-40s in North Africa.

Thanks OW
I think the LED lights on my photo booth have a habit of bleaching some colours, when I have sorted my workroom out (again!)
I will look for a less aggressive light source.

A solid result, 'Mog!
Some kits will fight you all the way. But are we to be dictated to by polystyrene and enamel? No! Tell 'em who's boss!
