My Kinetic 1/48 F-16XL wip. Probably going to be RAF  with wraparound grey/green camo.

Nice start and definitely a should have been instead of a technology teaser.

I have an XL single seater in the stash and will be watching your progress intently. That dorsal spine addition looks good.

Mine will be done up in IL ANG markings and tasked with continental air defense.

I need to get the two seater and do it up for SEAD, I think.

Looks like a nice, crisply moulded kit, too. Should look good when she's finished.

The main parts are nicely done, however, the smaller parts suffer from large sprue gates and flash, so lots of clean up. Lots of spares as well, it seems Kinetic have used sprues from other F-16 kits. You get large and small mouth intakes, standard and para housing fin/vertical stab parts, a couple of different engine nozzles. As well as weapons/weapon pylons that are not used on the XL.

I'm liking the SEAD idea.
