I was thinking that as the Iraqis flew the Fury and Hunter what if they'd flown a de navalised Sea Hawk before the Hunters were delivered. So, with an Airfix Sea Hawk and a sheet of Iraqi markings this is what I came up with.

Concur! Looks a natural in that camo & marking scheme which is wonderfully executed!

Very plausible concept, a natural step between Hurricanes and Hunters, and a beautiful build.
