It STank

Bought this resin / white-metal / P.E. Accurate Armour S-tank back before the Trumpeter kit came out as I thought no-one would ever do it in plastic.
While it is accurate, it had a few issues like average moulding with thousands of pin-hole bubbles plus a big one under the front, poor instructions and fit of the upper & lower hulls wasn’t easy either.  The P.E. is over done too so I’ll only be adding some of it.

I may do something with the gunner’s hatch as it lifts up & back on four arms with spare mortar-grenades on top.

As I always thought the standard British commander’s cupola was small & cramped, I will probably replace it with one the two other styles below.  Sadly I don't have another Marder turret.
Which is your choice ?

I like the second one, although the SAG one would look good with a large MG. Or replace it with a RWS?

The RWS is definitely all the rage these days. The bottom pic is very interesting to me.

Yeah, the middle one! ...... Then you can replace the mini-turret with an Urdan cupola later. ;D ;)

I'm still undecided on the cupolas - probably will go with the second pic.  I may be get a Trumpy Strv-103c for a second go using the Israeli doghouse as that pole sticking up behind the cupolas is an Israeli-designed Lyran mortar (illumination, smoke & HE rounds).

Anyone got a spare Marder turret ??

I always thought they should have saved those hulls and mounted TOW or some other AT missile.

or battlefield sensor arrays. If I find a cheap Trumpy offering somewhere at a rockbottom price... that is what my plan is.

IIRC it had two engines, one diesel and one turbine. Replace all that with one good diesel engine.
Something for the backstory. Not a big change for the model.
