Hi all

This is the Italeri kit built straight out of the box. Build is not bad except the canopy of which the fit is appalling.

There were a couple of other down sides, firstly the cannons were molded with the wings and were bound to be knocked off so I replaced them with brass afterparts. Secondly the prop blades didnt look right, possibly a short shot, so I replaced it with a Quickboost unit.

As an aside if you are doing a series of different mark Vb's this kit is ideal as it includes the Vokes, Abouqir and standard air filters plus two types  of rear view mirror and blunt and pointed spinners.

This build was done in parallel with the Hurricane Tankbuster as it shared the same colours and suffered the same problems with the paint masks. But saying that it did not fight me as much as the Hurricane.

Anyway here's the pics.....

And of course the scale shots .......

As usual, all comments and criticisms gratefully accepted

Great job!
One suggestion, nothing to do with the model, I think the green background is throwing the colors off. Especially the yellow. I had that happen when I took pics of the Starviggen. Two colors of blue against a reddish background threw it all off. Just my $0.02.

Your right, for some reason the photobooth LED's were particularly aggressive on this one, possibly the new power pack is chucking out more power. Its washing out the colours.

I might switch to a blue background,  it worked very well on the Cigar Ship photos.

I am looking for an alternative method of lighting?  ;) ;)
