Title: Mureaux-Cierva 227
Post by: Dr. YoKai on March 15, 2016, 02:11:55 AM
I built the original sometime...in the eighties, I think? Anyway, the struts on the parasol wing had snapped in
 a couple of places, so...

It's the old Heller kit of the Mureaux 117 observation plane. The finish is
rub n' buff silver, if memory serves.

 :) Nice.

Did it suffer the same fate as all the large(-ish), powerful(-ish) gyros attempted in the period?

Simply unable to take-off or destroyed itself due to ground resonance?  :-X ;D
