No Whiffs except for some decal changes, but some of my 1/72 aircraft built over a few years. Aircraft seem to have become my main interest over the last week.
Hurricane IID. Built around 15years ago as a wargaming model. Has been cleaned up a bit and been given lowered wheels.

Very nice builds there
Chris.

My favourite is the Yak-15, not common and well done.

Very nicely finished :), 1/72 rulez!! 8) 8) what manufacturers and kit numbers?
-
Thanks Fellas
what manufacturers and kit numbers?
That's pushing the memory. Hurricane is the Matchbox kit. P-47 is Academy with aftermarket decals. Sioux is Italeri with red cross decal from somewhere and scratchbuilt stretchers. Polikarpov I-1 is ICM. Camel is Academy. Yak is Pioneer 2 with decals from spares box, the kit ones fell apart. Both SPADs are Academy with aftermarket decals. Skyraiders from the Hasegawa 2 kits in one box series. THe C-47 is the Italeri Spooky with aftermarket decals.

Thanks for that :) :)

Do like your mix of 1/72 builds. :)
Much as I'm a fan of era of blue painted navy aircraft; can't pick a favorite between the Skyraiders.
Yak-15 carries green well. Did Russians paint them that color?

I was supposed to stick to Russian, but several others of interest made it in. The Yak is a bit brighter than it should be and looks even brighter in the photo.

Browsing web pictures I see Yak-15 common in green. Yak-23 is not common in green. Appears USSR was transitioning away from green as they moved into jet age.
RW or not, camo looks right on Hurricane.
