This Yak 28 along with 5 others believed to be in service with the Cartel is yet another example of museum pieces being brought back to life and pressed into service. The aircraft is a light bomber/attack aircraft and serves the cartel admirably among newer types of aircraft. The kit is the A model 1/72nd scale one and compared to other A model builds wasn't too bad of a build really. The kit has been slightly modified for service with the Cartel.

Nice model of a very rare aircraft (in our skies). :)

Nice :-*
Solid nose works well.

Looks really good. Did you add the nose targeting pod?
The Yak-28 family is unusual in that the solid nose variants don't have that "Soviet" look to them - except for the wing fences, of course.

Thanks for the comments guy's, I wanted to update the aircraft a bit so I made the nose solid, and gave it a targeting pod, as well as a pair of AAM's attached to the wing pods. The bomb bay has 4 bombs in it also. I am a big fan of older Soviet military aircraft, as their ruggedness really appeals to me.
