Title: Combat Models Vacuforms
Post by: Rickshaw on April 21, 2015, 02:23:55 PM
I recently received an email from Combat Models Vacuforms which announced that he was about to release 1/72 models of a 727 and the B-19.  He also apparently has the masters for a 1/48 B-36, although was lamenting how he could fit it on his vacuforming machine.   :o

You certainly have enough 1/72 B-36s to make a "twelve turning and 8 burning" version from of that kit. Maybe with some modified Condor V-2s as "standoff weapons" under the wings.

Would compliment his 1/48 XB-35, YB-49 and BV238...

There's a bloke on a few forums building Combat Models' 1/72 C-17 and doing a magnificent job. It's almost enough to make me want to pick up one of his kits...I'll have to investigate, thanks Greg.

Not sure if he was intentional in mislabeling the kits but a number of the kits are attributed to the wrong manufacturer.

For example: 1:48th scale XB-49 is attributed to Lockheed and not Northrop.

It could be whoever set up his new web page Jeff, it's been a while that he had one up-&-running

Yeah I noted that too...but don't really worry so long as the kits are ok.
