Title: Offbeat model kits
Post by: Old Wombat on July 20, 2014, 03:39:47 PM
I thought I'd start this for all those little companies with one-off's or very occasional kits that fit our purposes.

1st up - Volks Model Kits

OK, couldn't find this crew in the existing threads, so here we go.

These guys apparently make garage kits; mostly Gundam & something called Dollfie.

Here are the wikipedia & company links:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volks (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volks)

and associates:

http://www.zoukeimura.co.jp/en/index.html (http://www.zoukeimura.co.jp/en/index.html)

Anyway, I was cruising the HLJ site & found this;

I've been meaning to pick up this kit of Edelweiss for several weeks but other expenses keep getting in the way. I couldn't really get in to Valkyrie Chronicles but it has some nice tank designs that mix fictional and real world design elements.
