An oldie but a goodie. Thought I should post something whiffy to offset my current modern addiciton. My dream is to make one in 1/35th, maybe using the Trumpeter running gear now the Dragon E-100 is OOP.

So, what's the story behind the Maltese Cross, but otherwise WWII-era appearance?
Cheers,
Logan

Machts nicht zu mir, but its a nice touch, and a terrific build generally. The main gun was supposed to be a 170 mm. if I'm
remembering rightly?

Just part of my own subtle change in markings for my '46 plus gaming. I wanted something different. I used a mix of modern/luftwaffe things on my 8 Rad and Hummel APCs too.
Also sort of to show a change from the Hilter led regieme (he's dead) to the Rommel led one .........

Yeah, a 15 and 17cm were supposidly proposed. Crazy stuff. I would have thought a long 12.8 KwK 44 would have been more than enough.

Nothing succeeds like excess ;) , I guess...( I mean, these were the folks who built an 800 mm artillery piece...)
Incidently, if you prefer the dragon E-100, my local hobby shop had a couple in their 'used kit' corner, and I know they
do mail order - you migh drop them a line if you're so inclined.

Queeg, I wish I could use some of your creations on Company of Heroes in some sort of post 46 expansion. It would really liven things up.

That is simply the sweetest low-profile tank I've ever seen!
The winter camo is a masterpiece. This model is inspiring!
