It's been far too long since i've actually logged in here.
I've watched the whole series of the anime called "Yukikaze"
It's quite a great series to watch and if you're interested in science fictional stories involving aircraft you should probably watch it! :)
Anyways, this is the plane i'm talking about.

Comments would be good and suggestions are always appreciated.
I may or may not build it but if I sum up some courage....I'll do it ;)
Thanks for looking,
Michael

I'm sure I've seen this or something very similar in 1/72nd plastic some years ago -- definately a kit maybe by Hasegawa ? Hobbylink Japan would stock them if they're currently available ... otherwise it's ebay or one of the sci-fi kit-trade forums to get one.

The one I want is only sold in 1/144 or 1/100.
Not in my ball park for awesomeness.
It sucks, that's why i'm resorting to scratchbuilding it.
Ebay had nothing as well.

HobbyLink Japan has a 1/72 scale kit by Platz of one of the aircraft from this series: http://www.hlj.com/product/PLZX-9 (http://www.hlj.com/product/PLZX-9)
I vaguely recall seeing the Mave also in 1/72 by Platz.

Send me via PM your email adress and I'll send you an .pdf with paper model of Yukikaze , I'm pretty sure that you can make it in plastic instead of paper :)

It's Mike's fault that this thread caused me to spend an hour last night watching YouTube videos of excerpts of the dogfight scenes from Yukikaze. Apparently the JASDF assisted in the production of the six-part series' dogfight scenes. Time to check Netflix......

Alright
So far i've bought a 1/48 SU-27 to use as a base.
Plastic cards of varying sizes have also been purchased.
And some helpful ideas from Artoor :)
I will be building the FFR-41 in 1/48 scale!
