Look what I found lurking in the depths of my stash . . .
(https://i.postimg.cc/P5ZDXF5S/00-box.jpg) (https://postimages.org/)
It's a resin kit, which I don't have much experience in working with, so it's going to be a bit of a 'suck it and see' kind of build.
Anyway, on with the motley, here are the parts as they come from the box, sealed in plastic bags,
(https://i.postimg.cc/SKhMJ7Xk/00-parts-1.jpg) (https://postimages.org/)
and out of the bags, and laid out.
(https://i.postimg.cc/xd3bHJHH/00-parts-2.jpg) (https://postimages.org/)
and lastly, the instruction sheet, a painting guide, (guess whate schemm I'm going to use) and the decals. There's also some PE (that might stay in the bag) . . .

More when it happens,

Okay . . . some progress.
First off, I noticed that the main fuselage part as supplied was rather heavy, and, as the undercarriage legs looked a little flimsy, I decided to remove some of the excess resin, witha Dremel, drill and saw. Here's the fuselage as supplied,
(https://i.postimg.cc/nrWNcxqz/01-fus-as-is.jpg) (https://postimages.org/)
and after removing the excess resin, and a coat of dark grey inside.
(https://i.postimg.cc/ncs6SstQ/01-fus-carve-paint.jpg) (https://postimages.org/)
Next I removed the pour plugs from the cockpit and top decking parts.
(https://i.postimg.cc/nrr6Jrjg/01-cockpit.jpg) (https://postimages.org/)
I also prepared the nosepiece to receive the engine.
(https://i.postimg.cc/0NvFNcKp/01-nosepiece.jpg) (https://postimages.org/)
The kit engine isn't very good,
(https://i.postimg.cc/zX94sJJ2/01-kit-engine.jpg) (https://postimages.org/)
there are some prominent air bubbles, and removing it from the pour plug will lose a lot of detail. Fortunately, it's a copy of the Airfix Bristol Bulldog engine, and I have a spare one of those . . .
(https://i.postimg.cc/4dJDWBJJ/01-airfix-engine.jpg) (https://postimages.org/)
and here it is, dry fitted to the nosepiece.
(https://i.postimg.cc/sXwtq7X5/01-engine-fit.jpg) (https://postimages.org/)
On to the wings now. the upper one, which is slightly bigger, is the best to use, but needs a cut out to match the lower one.
(https://i.postimg.cc/G275qR7Q/01-wings-as-is.jpg) (https://postimages.org/)
Using the lower one as a guide, I cut out the upper one to match.

Dry fitted to the fuselage.
(https://i.postimg.cc/Y9qP6030/01-wing-fus-try.jpg) (https://postimages.org/)
And lastly, the tail surfaces prepared.

Okay . . .
Some more progress. I attached the two parts of the top decking together, and painted dark grey inside.
(https://i.postimg.cc/nhwNBLSY/02-top-deck-fit-paint.jpg) (https://postimages.org/)
When this was dry, I glued this to the fuselage.
(https://i.postimg.cc/JhDvqW9w/02-top-deck-fus-fit.jpg) (https://postimages.org/)
If you look, you will see that there is a step at the front end, which will leave a gap when the engine mount is glued on. I sanded this down flat,
(https://i.postimg.cc/v8rRkbDb/02-fus-nose-trim.jpg) (https://postimages.org/)
then attached the engine mount.
(https://i.postimg.cc/RZ0jWtdZ/02-engine-mount-fit.jpg) (https://postimages.org/)
I let the glue dry thoroughly (cyano doesn't take very long, though), and then glued on the wing and tail surfaces.
(https://i.postimg.cc/j5y1p4xZ/02-wings-tail-on.jpg) (https://postimages.org/)
While this was drying in turn, I looked at the undercarriage. These are the kit parts before cleaning up.
(https://i.postimg.cc/9Fc3jKqT/02-kit-UC.jpg) (https://postimages.org/)
I decided not to use these, and returned to the Airfix Bulldog kit which had supplied the engine, the parts from this were much better . . .
(https://i.postimg.cc/bNg7YgQ5/02-airfix-UC.jpg) (https://postimages.org/)
After cleanup, these, along with the axle, were attached.

Looking good!

Looks like 'natural' monoplane.

Okay . . .
It's been a while, but I've got this one finished !

More pictures in the Gallery thread.
That's All, Folks !

Very nice, Robin! And quite an aesthetic improvement over the biplane
This has me wonder about a follow-on. I can see a J 6/SA-14 Jaktfalken II replacement designed by ASJA looking a bit like a cross between a Swedish Fokker D.XXI and the RW FFVS J 22 ...
-
Very good.
I have a hunch we know now where Kora got the master for the engine for this kit.. well some it anyway.

Noice! 8)

Neat conversion, the finished item looks believable
Nice one

Thanks, all . . . :D :-[
As usual, there are some flaws, some due to the kit, most down to me, but overall, I'm happy with the model.
cheers,
Robin.

That does look "right"!
If the white colour is meant to be snow camo, the prominent tre kronor roundels negate it quite effectively ;D But that goes with period style, I suppose.

Very smart and tidy build!

I was just following the illo on the box top, see the first post, but I did wonder about that myself. It was only after i read your post that I remembered that I had some black on white tre kronor decals . . . ???
cheers,
Robin.

Very good.

it is pretty obvious-and a bit surprising. I had always thought Kora kits were on the high end of the quality scale but I haven't seen air pockets like that since the 90s.
No great matter-the finished product looks terrific.
