Hi,
I think that I might try and 3D print a modelofthis goofy Saab Motorhome from the 1960s, if that's OK.

That's cute! Thanks for the link.
The designer has the same model (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4412945/files) on his page. Tons of other cool designs as well.

A Google search finds two SAAB motorhomes: this one and a more angular one.
"On the 10th November 2007 the first Saab camper van ever built, was saved from a forest in Sweden. This was one of 2 ever built! This very unique and rare Saab was built in 1963 by Torsten Johannesson. The platform used on this project was the Saab 92. With only 28 Bhp, and too much weight on the front axel this car never made it through the car inspections. So it ended up as a hunters lodge in a forest in Sweden. But it was only recently that a wood cutting machine accidentally managed to knock the roof off the rear of the van. Time was now crucial as it ran the risk of degrading beyond repair.
After a lot of debating on Saabklubben.com, and then with the help of volunteers the camper van was finally lifted from the ground and rescued."

It’s the perfect time to do it if you ask me!
-
I wonder how it would look as a half-track...
Sounds like a terrific project-looking forward to seeing what's next.

Any progress on this interesting project?
