Looks good in norwegian and danish colours. The SAAB Eurofighter (a improved version of the AJ-37 and almost identical to the JA-37) was one of the fighter planes on the list, when Norway, Denmark, Holland and Belgium i 1973 decided find a common replacement for their F-104Gs. The four countries needed a total of 346 new planes. Other planes on the list were the Dassault-Breguet Mirage 1E, the SEPECAT Jaguar (alone or in a mix with Mirages), the F-16, the F-17 and the P-530 Cobra. In the end the winner was the F-16, which in Flyvevåbnet (RDAF) got the type letter E-, and that would also have been the type letter painted on the Saab Eurofighter, if it had been the winner. The type letter R-, was the type letter painted on the F-104Gs (the TF-104Gs got the type letter TF-. The three diggit number was the last diggits in the USAF serial number. As the SAAB Eurofighter did not have a USAF serial number, the sequense of numbers would have startet with E-001. Flyvevåbnets F-35 Drakens started with A-001 (and AR-100 for the RF-35s and AT-150 for TF-35s)

Great links, which send me down memory lane. When I was trained as a weapon instructor in the danish army home guard, I tried to shoot with the danish version of the Suomi M/31 submachine gun - Hovea m/41 - with the 50 rounds magazine. Heavy but very accurate due to its rather long barrel. You could hit a target at 150-200 meters, when it was in the semi automatic mode.

Possible scenario: somehow WW2 doesn’t happen (perhaps Hitler chokes on a nut) and the West gets more directly involved in the Finnish war against the USSR.

My favorite scenario to play out in Hearts of Iron, choosing Sweden and reunifying(/conquering) with Norway, Denmark and Finland in the 1930's, then WW2 becomes a four way fight between the Allies, Axis, Soviets and Swedish Empire :P
