Separate from the Soviet/Russian Tank and derivatives Ideas and Inspiration since it'd get lost there.
No idea who the watermark belongs to, but full credits to them.

The correct technical term is "blyat-mobile".
They're starting to look like A7Vs... only full of blyat.

Now, once the war is over, the chooks will be able to hit the road and see a bit of the world

When you slap that much armour over it, where is the point you stop calling it a "tank" & start calling it an "SPG"?
And, beyond that, when do you stop calling it an "SPG" & start calling it a "bunker"?
??? ???
-
If you watch videos of these things in "action", the gun is limited to about the same range of travel as a SPG. Visibility is also very poor; FPG drones can get past the cope cages and the metal does a great job at reflecting the blast forces back towards the tank. Sadly, the shielding greatly reduces or eliminates turret throw events, so these tanks don't qualify for that competition.
-
They usually have cameras all over them so visibility is achieved that way

It's not armor, it's plywood and sheet metal. Look at the interior shots I posted.

Still limits turret movement & vehicle mobility, & still armour, only for bomb-drones not shells & bullets.

Three Blyatmobiles got taken out one after the other earlier this week. Usually by one FPV in the front and one in the back, for less than $1000/tank, maybe less.

Basically, a poorly armored field taxi. "Blind, loud and stupid"

I like the term coined over on Secret Projects: Hillbilly armour.

Hillbillies would be highly insulted being associated with something this stupid!
-
It depends upon what sort of hillbillies they are... ;)
-
They're Russian hillbillies. You don't see many Moskals from Muscovy or Saint Petersburg getting rapidly dismembered in a trench or atomized in a tank.
