Story:
R-218 was the first of the final series of R-boats (R218 to R300 weighed 140 tons and were 39.2 meters long).

Built at Burmester, Burglesum, launched 24.07.1943. Torpedoed off Cap d'Antifer in English Channel 19.08.1944

GTX_Admin:

The Räumbootes were designed as small minesweepers, not high-speed torpedo, patrol or attack boats.
I've created a new topic.
