I think we need another child board in the Market Place Forum

Why, you ask? 

The thread titled I'm looking for... is currently eighteen pages in length and many of the individual comments posted by member in search of items have not been addressed. 

I propose that the thread be separated into individual topics for each request and moved into a new child board to be titled "Items Wanted" or "
I'm looking for." By creating this child board we could at a glance recognize which requests are still open and which are closed, requiring no further action. 

This child board will hopefully make it easier to help each other out and to immediately know if the request is still waiting to be fulfilled or that it is now a closed.

The Airfix Tribute Forum has something similar, it is also made so that nothing can be edited once a post has been made. I think this was the result of some heated arguments, because someone had deleted a post after the fact sort-of-thing

If we do this I think we have a Moderator dedicated to managing it and keeping it up-to-date and maintained - this would involve keeping it tidy and following up with individual posters.  Members would also be asked to remove their requests once they were satisfied.

If anyone is interested in volunteering please let me know.
