Here is something I've made from a broken up model in the scrap draw I have to say I am really pleased with the result so far.

The leds are encased in glue from a hot glue gun to dull them a bit and help diffuse the light then the glue is painted various shades of yellow orange and red, I then air brushed the cotton wool with the leds on till I get the desired effect, you have to check from different angles, as I thought at one point yep that's finished cleaned the ab out then went to take pics and two sides looked awful, so out came the airbrush again.
