Two-days long project. Very simple model but I love it because of fit, diorama, simplicity etc :)
Painted with Talens, Vallejo, Humbrol. Weathered with Tamyia set D and Kremer pigments. Scrub by Faller and that's all.
So here it is: Sherman Firefly by Matchbox/Revell 1:76 from 1974 (date on sprues) :)

You prove that there's plenty of life in those old kits!
That's one killer Firefly! The dirt on the front fenders really makes it for me.

Neat stuff!!! I loved those mini display bases when they first came out, this looks like a Matchbox promo model .......

built several of these for a club diorama back in the '80's - surprisingly good for a Matchbox kit :)
Glad the driver ignored his commander's cry of "full speed ahead !" ;D ... or is this before they went over the edge ??
